High School Principal Opportunity – Trumansburg Central School District
The Trumansburg Central School District invites dynamic and innovative educational leaders to apply for the position of High School Principal (Grades 9-12). This leadership role is pivotal in fostering academic excellence, supporting student growth, and guiding the dedicated faculty and staff of Charles O. Dickerson High School.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of the high school’s academic and extracurricular programs.
Promote a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Oversee curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation to ensure alignment with district and state standards.
Support and develop staff through effective supervision, evaluation, and professional development initiatives.
Foster positive relationships with students, families, and community stakeholders.
Ensure the effective use of fiscal and human resources to achieve school goals.
Qualifications
NYS School Building Leader (SBL) or equivalent administrative certification required.
Proven leadership experience, preferably in a high school setting.
Demonstrated commitment to equity, innovation, and student-centered learning.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and sustain a collaborative and inclusive school culture.
